Professional Profile

LeAnne is the CEO and founder of Logica Consulting, an Ottawa based SAP consulting firm formed in 1999 to provide SAP consulting, business transformation and project / change management consulting services to Canadian federal government clients.    

LeAnne moved to Ottawa from Newfoundland in 1997 where she worked on the first SAP implementation for the Canadian federal government.  She has been working exclusively with federal government clients since that time developing her expertise in SAP Public Sector solution.  

The foundation for LeAnne’s 25+ years of IT industry experience, began with completion of a diploma in Computer Studies (Management Information Systems) from Cabot College (1993).  While working full time in the IT industry, she continued her studies part-time via distance learning from Memorial University of Newfoundland where she graduated with a diploma in Business Administration (2001) and Bachelor of Business Administration (2014). 

Having started her career as a programmer/analyst, LeAnne then obtained her certification as an SAP ABAP developer, which led to SAP cross-module (integration) consulting, SAP workflow business process automation and ultimately to project / change management certifications and professional consulting engagements.  Her deep knowledge of the SAP Canadian Public Sector solution — translates into skills that bridge the gap between the technical and functional aspects of SAP.

LeAnne’s niche area is business transformation – business process re-engineering and business workflow automation.  LeAnne has worked on significant SAP Business Process Re-engineering and Transformation projects such as SAP Ariba Buyer, Ivalua Source-to-Settle, SAP Procure-to-Pay and SAP Travel Module automation projects for Shared Services Canada, Health Canada, Canada Border Services Agency, Treasury Board Secretariat, Justice Canada and the Bank of Canada.

What’s next

An entrepreneur since the age of twelve, LeAnne continues to evolve and expand her consulting, real estate, and counselling businesses.    Her family currently resides at their property by the ocean in Newfoundland while LeAnne continues to do remote consulting engagements for clients in Ottawa.

LeAnne has nurtured a keen interest in alterative / energetic healing practices over the years.  In addition to her personal yoga practice, she is certified in an alternative energy healing and Family Constellations Therapy.

LeAnne is currently pursuing her masters in cyberpsychology, she sees the growing field of cyberpsychology as the next step in her career evolution – which is currently focused on the ‘people’ side of projects – change management.  With a daughter in the school system, she has seen firsthand the impact of social media and usage of technology daily.  As the resident techie, she has taught many parents/teachers about parental controls on electronic devices and encouraged them to watch documentaries such as The Social Dilemma with their children.  

Her vision includes creation of a private practice for clinical counselling and seminars for safe technology usage practices for parents / children struggling with the implications of technology on their daily life.  LeAnne would like to educate schools, parents, teachers, and children in healthy use of technology and provide group counselling to children experiencing cyber-bullying.
